The Arc Raiders winter event, Cold Snap, has officially wrapped up, and developer Embark Studios has released a detailed breakdown of the impressive milestones players reached during the limited time celebration ❄️🎮. Shared through an official graphic on social media, the stats highlight just how active and creative the community was throughout the event.
Cold Snap by the Numbers ❄️
During the event, players fully embraced the winter chaos. A staggering 95 million snowballs were thrown across Arc Raiders’ battlegrounds, leading to 91 million player knockouts caused by snowballs alone. Snowballs were not just used for player combat either, as 10,577 Arc enemies were taken down using nothing but icy projectiles.
The harsh winter conditions also played a role in the mayhem. Embark confirmed that 3.5 million players were knocked out due to cold exposure, reinforcing how dangerous the Cold Snap environment truly was.
Fireworks, Firecrackers, and Festive Fun 🎆
Beyond combat, the event leaned heavily into seasonal celebration. Players fired off 2.9 million fireworks rounds and tossed 9.2 million firecrackers throughout the event period. In one of the more unexpected statistics, 108 players played musical instruments continuously for more than 20 minutes, showing that not everyone was focused solely on survival.

Arc Raiders’ Ongoing Success 🚀
Outside of the Cold Snap event, Arc Raiders continues to perform strongly on a commercial level. Publisher Nexon recently confirmed that the game has surpassed 12.4 million copies sold, generating hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue. The numbers reinforce Arc Raiders’ position as one of the standout PvPvE experiences currently on the market.
With the winter festivities now over, attention turns to what Embark Studios will introduce next, especially as the player base continues to grow at an impressive pace.
