Rust Adds Jungle Biome, Deadly Wildlife & New Gear in Massive Update!

Facepunch Studios has just dropped a major content update for Rust, and it's one of the most exciting ones in years! The survival game is getting a brand new biome, the jungle, for the first time in a very long time. 🌿🐍

🐅 Welcome to the Jungle!

Players can now explore lush, wild terrain teeming with new dangers:

  • Tigers, panthers, and crocodiles ready to ambush
  • Snakes hidden in tall grass
  • Vines you can swing from, bringing serious Tarzan vibes!

This isn't just cosmetic—Rust's jungle is built to challenge even the most seasoned survivors.

🆕 New Weapons & River Overhaul

To help players survive in this wild new world, the developers have added:

  • A boomerang (yes, really!)
  • A blowpipe with multiple dart types for creative takedowns

Also, rivers have been completely reworked—they’re now larger and deeper, meaning you’ll need to find smarter ways to cross.

💰 Discount & Jungle-Themed DLC

To celebrate the update, Rust is now 50% off for a limited time. Plus, there's a new paid DLC pack filled with jungle-themed cosmetic items for fans who want to dive in with style.

Rust is available now on PC and both current and last-gen consoles.
