Stellar Blade

Stellar Blade PC Launch Goes Global with No PSN Lock-In

Stellar Blade, the stylish sci-fi action RPG from Shift Up, is confirmed for a global PC release on Steam this June—without PlayStation Network (PSN) restrictions that previously caused backlash for other Sony-published titles.

✅ No PSN Account Required

Unlike Helldivers 2, which faced a wave of controversy when Sony suddenly enforced PSN linking months after release, Stellar Blade won’t force players to connect a PSN account to play. This is great news for gamers in the 120+ countries where PSN isn’t officially supported.

🗺️ Available in ~250 Regions

The developers at Shift Up proudly confirmed the Steam version will be available in almost 250 regions worldwide. However, a few countries won’t have access, including:

  • 🇷🇺 Russia
  • 🇴🇲 Oman
  • 🇰🇼 Kuwait
  • 🇶🇦 Qatar

This may be due to local content laws or platform-specific policies.

🕹️ Demo Progress Transfers

Already tried the demo? Good news — your progress will carry over to the full game on PC. Whether you’re just starting or deep into the first missions, you won’t have to start over when Stellar Blade launches.

🗓️ Release Date

Mark your calendars — the full PC release hits Steam on June 11, 2025.

With the PSN drama firmly sidestepped, Stellar Blade is shaping up to be one of the smoothest big-name PC ports in Sony’s catalog.
